Bought this for my son for his violin. He’s a middle schooler (12) and throws his stuff and smacks it against everything. So a soft case was not an option. This is super durable, comes with a strap so he can wear it over his shoulder and it also has a lock with key so no one can take it at school. Highly recommend. Also, I bought the full size and it fits great.My son loves this case. I got it for him as an Xmas present for his 1/2 violin. I was surprised when he said he wanted it in silver but hey, his choice. This case is lighter than the case for his 1/4 size. I love the backpack straps. He has hit some walls with the case but only damage seems to be to my walls. This is a compact case. Bow has to go in a certain way. I do wish it had a third clasp. My son loves the case and is super proud to carry his violin in it. When he moves up to the next size I will buy the next size up.the case is sturdy but heavy for kids to carry around. There is barely any room inside to keep shoulder rest or music papers, etc.Very efficient delivery by Amazon and safety arrived, 4 days sooner than expected even though it is around X'Mas. The Crossrock 1/2 Violin case is a solid and simple case to carry around, yet reliable.I wish it has another lock instead of just two.The shoulder straps are cheaply made and useless.It's not comfortable for the kid to wear this like a backpack due to its stiffness.I bought the 1/4 size for an older violin. It fits great!Definitely does not accommodate a chin restBeautiful case & such amazing quality. This hard-bodied case feels luxurious, with its incredibly soft interior. The clasps and the straps are reliable. The violin case has withstood several travels by bus and train to churches and halls around Greater Londong and has fared extremely well on international and national travels. My daughter has personalised the case by sticking Suzuki stickers and inspirational quotes on it. Love it!Es mejor en físico que en las fotos bien podría ser un case más caro ya que no le pide nada a cases de compañías de renombre y famosas...es más grande que lo que se aprecia en las fotos...en el exterior es lujo puro...sus chapas se ven de.muy buena calidad al igual que los remaches para la correa y su manija....su punto débil es el interior ya que si deja un poco que desear especialmente el acabado y la unión de los compartimientos,los arcos dan bien pero no sueñes con introducir un cojín o soporte para el violin yo me las arregle para meter entre la suspensión donde va el violín unas cuerdas de repuesto.Perfecto, buena calidad
